Christophe Gaudin is a Professorial Fellow (Research) and Deputy Director at UWA's Centre for Offshore Foundation Systems (COFS).
Christophe's research focus spans centrifuge modelling, suction caisson, anchoring systems, soil characterisation, soil pipe interaction and hybrid foundations, most of which is carried out at UWA's world-class centrifuge facilities for deep water engineering. His expertise is widely sought by industry to assist in the design of offshore structures.
In addition, Christophe is developing a new beam centrifuge 10m in diameter, due for completion in 2016, through a $1.5M ARC LIEF grant.
Over the course of his career, Christophe has been awarded more than $20M of government competitive funding (in addition to >$5.5M in industry funding).
