The Centre for the Study of Social Change applies the social sciences to understand humanity’s most urgent problems and devises evidence-based solutions to address them.

Issues such as climate change and social change are firmly on the Centre’s research agenda and provide an opportunity for collaborative research.

In addition to research, the Centre sponsors conferences, symposia, seminars and other forums for interdisciplinary dialogue and encourages the publication of discussion papers, lectures and proceedings which result from these events.

It is based at UWA'sa School of Psychology in partnership with the Institue of Advanced Studies.
